That's why this is the best global mod for Terraria. The mod is very well-balanced, the textures fit Terraria style very well and content of this mod fits Terraria perfectly. It adds a lot of interesting content such as a lot of town NPCs (and a lot of them have unique mechanics), a new underwater biome with a lot of new enemies and treasures, new bosses with custom AI and a lot of new weapons and other items, most of which have unique effects.

It's probably much better now though.īut, anyway, out of those 3, I definitelly would say Thorium. I love biomes too, but back when I tried, it always generated it weird places, and it was too small to actually see those unique monsters actually appear there. I was mostly just looking at how that reach biome is. I tried it once but didn't got any far in it. but I dunno if I could defeat them.? I'm not the best fighter XD)Īs for Spirit, I know little about it. (of course, some would say those "crazy-strong looking post moon long bosses" are fun. It is an amazing mod, no question, but I personally like Thorium a lot more. Does it looks good? YES!! Does it blends well with vanilla Terraria?. Besides intimidating things like having all those crazy-strong looking post moon long bosses, and a biome that seems to kill you no matter what (the abyss), Calamity just not feels like it would blend as well as Thorium does sprites-wise.
Many love Calamity, but I feel odd about it. It also blends in so well with vanilla game. I didn't tried the latest updates yet, but I had several playthroughs with that mod, and I absolutely love it!
